CSArts-SGV Thespian Troupe received awards at the California State Thespian Festival
CSArts-SGV Thespian Troupe participated for the third year in the California State Thespian Festival, a prestigious event showcasing superior high school theatre across the state to recognize and support excellence in theatre education. Students received the following awards. Solo Monologue Second Place: Sam Morelos (ACT, ‘23)Solo Musical Second Place: Apple Owens (MT, ‘24)Superior Ranking: Samantha Rily (IA, ‘24)Duet Acting Superior Ranking: Sam Morelos (ACT, ‘23) and Amrutha Ravi (ACT, ‘23)Judges’ Choice Award for Thespians Got TalentSam Morelos (ACT, ‘23)Samantha Rily (IA, ‘24) was selected to perform in the closing ceremony performance.
