CSARTS-SGV STUDENTS WERE RECOGNIZED AS SEMIFINALISTS IN THE MUSIC CENTER’S 35TH ANNUAL SPOTLIGHT PROGRAM

The Music Center announced their 2024 Spotlight Winners, as well as the semifinalists and honorable mentions. Spotlight is a nationally recognized competition, scholarship, and artistic development program. Below are the CSArts-SGV students who received semifinalist and honorable mention recognition:

Jailen Bates (IA, ‘24) - Semifinalist, Acting
Lena Embry (PM, ‘24) - Honorable Mention, Non-Classical Voice
Mae Ryness (MT, ‘24) - Semifinalist, Acting
Alvin Wang (VA, ‘24) - Semifinalist, Classical Instrument
