Syler Segovia was selected as one of the winners of the Upper San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District’s 2025-2026 Student Art Contest
Syler Segovia (FMA, ‘31) was selected as one of the winners of the Upper San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District’s 2025-2026 “Being Water Wise Is…” Student Art Contest. Syler won third place in the 6-8th Grade Category. Students from K-12 are invited annually to submit artwork that delivers a powerful water conservation or water-wise message. Sylar also received a Special Mention Award for the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization Water Museum International Youth Contest, was one of the winners of the Royal Oaks STEAM Academy 2025 Bookmark Contest, and was recognized by the Historical Society of West Covina for excellence in the pursuit of art.
