Damien Capper was a member of the IDBF US National Team and competed in Germany at the 17th IDBF World Dragon Boat Racing Championships
Damien Capper (PM, ‘27) was a member of the International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF) US National Team and competed this past summer in Brandenburg, Germany at the 17th IDBF World Dragon Boat Racing Championships. He brought home two silver and three bronze medals and, with the US National Youth Team as a whole, won the Youth Cup for the first time, beating out Canada, Australia, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, and Hungary. Damien has been racing with his team, Los Angeles County Dragon Boat Club, for the past four years and practices at the Sante Fe Dam.
