Visual Arts Grade 9 Showcase Opening Reception: The Visual Arts Conservatory presents a collection of inspiring work by students in grade 9! The reception is free of charge, so make sure to stop by the CSArts-SGV Lobby for the Opening Reception on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. This exhibit will remain on display until Feb. 28.
All School Musical: Of Thee I Sing: The fifth-annual All School Musical, Of Thee I Sing, is the must attend event of the season. This cross-conservatory performance features the work of ALL conservatories, truly showcasing the various forms of talent at CSArts-SGV! The musical will run three different shows through Feb. 10-11 at the Haugh Performing Arts Center at Citrus College, located at 1000 W Foothill Blvd, Glendora, Calif. Integrated Arts Romeo & Juliet: Join students in the Integrated Arts Conservatory for their portrayal of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet. Keeping the classical text of the story, their show takes place in the modern world and is set to a punk rock soundtrack. There are many chances to support the show, as four showings will take place over Feb. 23-25. Click here for tickets and showtimes.
Visual Arts Art Market Shoppe: Students in the Visual Arts Conservatory will be able to sell their artwork to their peers as they participate in the Art Market Shoppe. Students will be able to browse the handmade jewelry, accessories, decor, and more! The Art Market Shoppe will be open to CSArts-SGV students at lunch on both Friday, Feb. 24 and March 24.
Vocal Arts Winter Showcase Performance Our California: Folk-singer Moira Smiley joins the Vocal Arts Conservatory choirs for an evening of collaborative performances. Together, they will perform songs about community and human connection as part of our Master Artist Series. Purchase tickets here and join us in the CSArts-SGV Cafe on Friday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. to support the talented Moira Smiley and Vocal Arts choirs.
Gala 2023: Fanfare in the French Quarter: The CSArts-Sgv Foundation invites you to Gala 2023: Fanfare in the French Quarter, their largest fundraising event of the year! The event will host a musical celebration of jazz, rhythm, and blues, never-before-seen performances, and captivating live and virtual auctions on Saturday, March 4 at 6 p.m. at Le Méridien Pasadena Arcadia. Visual Arts Grade 10 Showcase Opening Reception: The Visual Arts Conservatory presents a collection of inspiring work by students in grade 10! This reception will be designed by Visual Arts students in the Display and Exhibition Design class, and is free of charge, so make sure to stop by the many Visual Arts students involved at the CSArts-SGV Lobby for the Opening Reception on Wednesday, March 8 at 7 p.m. This exhibit will remain on display until March 29.
Creative Writing Open Mic Nights: The Creative Writing Conservatory holds many Open Mic Nights throughout the year. Open Mic Night allows Creative Writing students the chance to be onstage, presenting their original work. Attendance is free, so make sure to stop by the CSArts-SGV Quad on Tuesday, March 14 and Tuesday, May 23 from 6:30-8 p.m. to hear their poems, short stories, songs, and more!
Acting The Wolves: Students in the Acting Conservatory will perform their rendition of The Wolves, a play that focuses on the experiences of girls on their high school soccer team as they navigate the world around them and how they fit into it. Sure to tug at your heartstrings, The Wolves will run for five performances over two weekends, March 17-19 and 24-25, at the Sierra Madre Playhouse, click here for tickets.
The Morning of the Year: A Music and Dance Collaboration: This cross-conservatory performance will feature the work of students in the School of Dance, Instrumental Music, and Vocal Arts Conservatories. This performance will highlight the Spring season, with performances capturing the hopeful feeling of renewal and new life. This collaboration will run on March 24-25 at 7 p.m. at the Duarte Performing Arts Center, and tickets can be purchased here.
Integrated Arts Black Box Acting Showcase: This black box performance will allow students in the Integrated Arts Conservatory students to showcase what they have learned in their Integrated Arts acting, improvisation, and directing classes. Support these Integrated Arts students on March 30-31 at 7 p.m. at the Duarte Performing Arts Center, tickets here!

Creative Writing Festival of Mini Musicals: Students of the Creative Writing Conservatory, along with two students from the School of Music, have teamed up to write original Mini Musicals. The performance will showcase five musicals, each performed as a black-box style production with CSArts-SGV performers and directed by professional directors. Come support students of various conservatories from April 13-15.
Instrumental Music Spring Chamber Music Recital: This special recital will feature the work of six string chamber groups from the Strings & Orchestra Program of the Instrumental Music Conservatory. Join them at the Church of the Good Shepherd Sanctuary in Arcadia on April 13 at 7:30 p.m.
Musical Theatre JFK: A Musical Drama: Students in the Musical Theatre Conservatory will perform their rendition of JFK: A Musical Drama, a musical based on John F. Kennedy as he examines the triumphs and the shadows of the Kennedy legacy. Be sure to support the show over its three showings on April 13-15 in the CSArts-SGV Quad from 7-9:30 p.m.
Instrumental Music Spring Piano Recital: Students in the Pianist Program within the Instrumental Music Conservatory will perform their Fall Piano Recital on Tuesday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd Sanctuary in Arcadia.
Vocal Arts Middle School Showcase: Students in the Middle School program of the Vocal Arts Conservatory will perform songs for attendees in the Music Center Recital Hall in Room 301 at CSArts-SGV. Come support our youngest group of students on Tuesday, April 18 at 7 p.m.
Integrated Arts Musical Showcase: Students in the Integrated Arts Conservatory will perform both original pieces and performances they have practiced in their Integrated Arts musical theatre, voice and dance classes. This showcase will take place on April 21 at 7 p.m. in the CSArts-SGV Quad.
Instrumental Music Battle of the Bands: The Instrumental Music Conservatory will host the Battle of the Bands, and is open to students of all conservatories! Eligible bands consist of at least one member being a CSArts-SGV student, and all members being under the age of 21. Don’t miss this exciting, musical event in the CSArts-SGV Quad on Saturday, April 22 at 6 p.m.
Instrumental Music Spring Guitar Recital: Students in the Guitar Program within the Instrumental Music Conservatory will perform their Guitar Recital on Monday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd Sanctuary in Arcadia.
Season Finale: An event you won’t want to miss, CSArts-SGV’s Season Finale will host all conservatories as they showcase their works from the 2022-2023 school year. With something for everyone, we hope that you will save the date and join us at the Haugh Performing Arts Center of Citrus College on April 30 from 7-9 p.m., tickets to be announced soon.
Dance Spring Showcase: Students in the School of Dance will showcase their talents at their Spring Showcase, with performances from both Ballet & Contemporary and Commercial Dance conservatories. This performance will take place on May 4 in the Room 301 of the Music Center Recital Hall at CSArts-SGV.
Integrated Arts Film & Poetry Night: Integrated Arts students will showcase student films that they have worked on in their Integrated Arts film classes, in addition to original spoken word poetry they wrote in their poetry classes. This night of performances showcasing the original works of these students will take place on May 5 at 7 p.m. in the CSArts-SGV Cafeteria.
Vocal Arts Commercial Music Showcase: Vocal Arts student performers take attendees through a curated evening of performances showcasing the talents of singers from every grade. Join us in the Quad on May 5 at 7 p.m. to support our talented Vocal Arts students.
Instrumental Music Jazz Under the Stars: Students in the Winds and Jazz Program within the Instrumental Music Conservatory will perform at Jazz Under the Stars on May 12 at 7 p.m. at the CSArts-SGV Quad.
