Abraham Rodriguez graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a degree in Technical Production & Design with an emphasis in stage management and set design. Mr. Rodriguez’s stage management career spans over ten years working in various Southern California theatres including Saddleback Civic Light Opera’s McKinnley Theatre, The Historic Lankershim Arts Center, Pasadena Playhouse’s Carrie Hamilton Theatre, and the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Rodriguez served as Coeurage Theatre Company’s Production Manager for two years and as Kaiser Permanente Educational Theatre Southern California’s lead Booking and Events Coordinator for five years. As Vice President of 48 Hours Theatre Inc., he oversaw the non-profit’s education program for middle and high school students in Ventura County. He first began working with California School of the Arts - San Gabriel Valley as stage manager for their inaugural all-school musical, Pippin. Since then, he has worked closely with CSArts SGV’s School of Theatre serving various roles as Props Master and Stage Manager. Mr. Rodriguez is excited to continue the growth and vision of the Production and Design conservatory and to inspire student designers and technicians to achieve their artistic potential.
