Kimberly Mitchell

Director of Production & Design

Ms. Mitchell graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a degree in theatrical production and design with an emphasis in stage management. Over the last 15 years, Ms. Mitchell has worked as a Stage and Production Manager in some of the most remarkable venues in Southern California, including: the Hollywood Bowl, the Walt Disney Concert Hall, and the Honda Center. She has also had the honor of working with groundbreaking performing groups such as Deaf West Theatre, McCoy Rigby, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

On top of her extensive experience on traditional stages, for three years Ms. Mitchell sailed as a Senior Production manager onboard Princess Cruises and successfully launched two brand new world class ships. Most recently, she has functioned as a Production Stage Manager for the Disneyland Resort on shows such as Frozen Live at the Hyperion and Disneyland Forever, a Fireworks Spectacular. With her diverse background in technical theatre, spanning a multitude of arts disciplines and theatrical venues, as well as a passion for arts education, Ms. Mitchell is looking forward to building a Production and Design program for the students in the San Gabriel Valley.
