She began her teaching career at the Orange County School of the Arts, where she spent three years teaching printmaking, photography, and mixed media.

In 2017, Mrs. Ma established the Visual Arts Conservatory at CSArts-SGV, building the program from the ground up and developing its curriculum, courses, exhibitions, and educational opportunities. As Visual Arts Director, she serves more than 300 students and continues to shape its vision, programming, and growth.

Mrs. Ma is committed to helping young artists develop creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the confidence to explore new ideas; skills that support them in whatever path they choose.
