California School of the Arts ― San Gabriel Valley (CSArts-SGV) welcomes another year of memorable performances presented by the school’s talented student artists. While there are various concerts, performances, recitals, galleries, and opportunities that our aspiring artists participate in throughout the year, these are a few to have on your radar. Descanso Gardens’ “Enchanted: Forest of Light”: Descanso Gardens’ “Enchanted: Forest of Light” is a partnership between Descanso Gardens – a botanical garden located in La Cañada-Flintridge – and students from CSArts-SGV. Our students offer dazzling performances under the evening sky with stunning lights illuminating the gardens. You won’t want to miss this!
The Annual Holiday Festivus Performance: The Annual Holiday Festivus Performance is a festive, holiday-themed show put on by our Instrumental Music and Vocal Arts Conservatories, featuring all things winter: snowflakes, snowmen, and Santa!
All-School Musical: The All-School Musical is a beloved tradition at CSArts-SGV where students from various conservatories come together to stage a large-scale production. This year, students will perform Of Thee I Sing – a humorous musical written by the Gershwin brothers.
Gala: After an exciting and successful fundraiser this past spring, CSArts-SGV will present a full-scale Gala in support of its deserving students and arts conservatory programs. This amazing event will feature high-energy student performances, a thrilling live auction, and a delicious gourmet dinner. Stay tuned for more information, including this year’s theme!
Season Finale: Season Finale is a highly anticipated event exhibiting a collection of performances and showcases from each of CSArts-SGV’s conservatory programs. Season Finale is an opportunity for students to demonstrate the accomplishments and talents they have acquired through their years at CSArts-SGV, and to celebrate the best of the school year’s shows and events. You will be witness to special stages of multiple art forms: singing, dancing, instrumental, visual arts and many more!
