GRADES 9-12 ONLINE AND ON-CAMPUS REGISTRATION

Dear CSArts-SGV High School Families,

We hope you are having a wonderful summer! We wanted to inform you of some important information and steps you will need to take to ensure that your child will be set to start school successfully on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

CSArts-SGV Online Registration for high school students begins Tuesday, July 15 and will close on Monday, August 4. Parents/guardians must complete Online Registration so that their child is cleared to complete On-Campus Registration on Tuesday, August 5 and Wednesday, Agust 6.

PLEASE COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING STEPS

STEP ONE:

1. All high school families, new and returning, should log in to their family account on Aeries using either their existing login credentials or the login information sent to you from techsupport@csarts.net. This email should already be in the email inbox you used to register for Aeries. If you HAVE NOT registered in Aeries, please contact us at student.services@sgv.csarts.net, and we will assist you.

2. Aeries Data Confirmation and Authorizations: All high school families, new and returning, must review and update student/parent data online HERE. If the data confirmation process is not completed, full access to the Aeries database will not be accessible when school starts.

Please note:

  • You may want to review the following important documents as a family prior to completing Data Confirmation and Authorization so you are aware of the agreements you are making:

    • CSArts-SGV Student Parent Handbook 2025-2026

    • CSArts-SGV Student Device Policy, Procedure, and Information Handbook

      •  CSArts-SGV provides Chromebook Carts in the classrooms. This means that each classroom houses a Chromecart with devices for that specific classroom. CSArts-SGV does not check out individual devices to students. While it is not necessary, some students may prefer to bring their own personal device with them to school, which they are welcome to do. We also recognize that some students do not have a computing device at home from which to complete school work. If a family qualifies under the federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program (FRLP) and does not have access to a computing device at home, they may request a device be checked out to them for home use. To do so, please please fill out this Request to Check-Out a School Issued Device and Tech Support will get back to you with next steps.

      • All students, whether they will be using a school-based Chromebook in their classes (majority of students), bringing their own personal device daily, or checking out a school-owned device, must confirm they understand and agree to the Student Device Handbook. Please note: At times, teachers may require all students to use the in-room Chromebook as opposed to their personal devices, particularly when participating in assignments or tasks that are utilizing GoGuardian, a secure browsing tool utilized by teachers.

STEP TWO:

1. Set up a food service payment account through School Cafe. Families who qualify for free or reduced lunch will be able to fill out the application in their School Cafe accounts starting in August (not sooner due to DUSD timelines). Even though some basic food service will be free to all families this school year, per federal programs, it is still important that all families who may qualify for the free and reduced lunch program fill out the application. Our state and federal funding depends on these numbers being accurate (rate of families who qualify for FRLP), so please take the time. More information can be found HERE.

2. Get involved through the Family Action Network! Similar to a parent-teacher association, the Family Action Network (FAN) provides an opportunity for parents to stay connected to what's happening at CSArts-SGV, while maximizing the school experience for all CSArts-SGV students. The mission of the Family Action Network is to provide meaningful volunteer opportunities; support the school in enhancing students' academic, artistic, physical, and emotional growth; and help CSArts-SGV parents and family members to stay involved through an inclusive, diverse, and collaborative parent community. Parent participation options include event volunteering, student mentorship, parent connection/education activities, and participating in school committees/focus groups to provide important input on various areas of operations.

Are you a FAN? Click HERE to get involved in the Family Action Network, including the opportunity for new and returning parents to participate in our New Family Buddy Program, which pairs current families with incoming families prior to the start of the school year.

3. Set up a MySchoolBucks account. MySchoolBucks (MSB) will be a simplified and more convenient way for our families to purchase school-related items now and in the future. Before taking this next step, please read the important information related to on-campus registration below so that you are prepared for what to purchase. Please click HERE for a helpful flyer on how to get started.

4. Apply for a STUDENT (not parent) parking permit for the 2025-2026 school year. This permit is for students who currently hold a valid California Driver’s License. These passes are not for students with learner's permits or parent drop off/pick up. Starting Friday, August 1, applications will be reviewed by administration and approved on a rolling basis, based on completed paperwork, senior priority, and space availability.

If you want to apply and intend to purchase a permit ($60), please fill out the CSArts-SGV Student Parking Permit Application 2025-2026. In order to be approved and sent a purchase link, you must submit a photo or scan of the student’s valid California Driver’s License as a part of this online application process.

Keep in mind that students can also drive and park on both Central (east of Highland) and on Highland for free with a short walk to campus. Once approved and purchased, paid parking permits will be distributed to students from the front desk in the lobby. Students/families will be notified via email.

5. Homecoming, Winter Formal, and Prom Tickets Available Now! Purchase tickets for this year’s dances at last year’s prices! Discounted pricing is available through August 15, 2025, after which regular prices will apply. Buy your tickets HERE!

  • Homecoming: October 11, 2025 ($70 / $35 FRLP)
