Collaboratively, the CSArts Science Team will guide, challenge, and inspire students to become creative problem solvers, whose appreciation and understanding of the ever-changing nature of science cultivates engaged, responsible lifelong learners.
Instructor
Mr. Goes holds a bachelor’s degree in Geology from UC Davis, and a Physical Science teaching credential and Master’s Degree from San Jose State University. Mr. Goes has taught a variety of science courses in the bay area for the past 21 years and is very excited about relocating to Southern California. Mr. Goes will be teaching Environmental Science, Chemistry, and AP Chemistry as part of a dynamic science team.
James Granger graduated from Harvard College with a Bachelors of the Arts and received his Masters in Education and credential from Claremont Graduate University. He is qualified to teach Biology, Physics and Computer Science and has an outside interest in dramaturgy. As the science geek in an artsy family, teaching science at CSArts feels like coming home.
Neil Mohamed graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor’s degree in Genetics as well as a Master’s in Science Education. With a teacher certification in Chemistry, Mr. Mohamed strives to provide young learners with an authentic scientific experience based on evidence-based problem solving, and experimentation. Aside from teaching science at CSArts-SGV, he is also an instructor of a visual arts course on the practice and culture of graffiti art.
Jessica Pham attended the University of California, Los Angeles for her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. After a short stint working in an educational lab setting and through wonderful experiences teaching music at a piano studio, she decided to pursue her chemistry teaching credential at California State University, Fullerton. Ms. Pham is excited to be a part of the CSArts-SGV family where she has an opportunity to share all things science with her students!

Kaitlyn Stiegler graduated from Biola University with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences. Several years later, when she dropped out of medical school after two months of successful study, she was making a courageous and exciting decision to pursue her heart’s true passion: teaching.
Mrs. Stiegler earned her Master's in Teaching and her teaching credential in Biology and Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine. She is passionate about sharing the complexity and beauty of biology with her students and teaching them to think like scientists. Alongside the wonderful team of faculty and staff at CSArts, Mrs. Stiegler is excited to provide a safe and challenging environment for each of her unique students, where each student is known and cared for, and where all students are inspired and equipped to become pursuers of knowledge.
