In collaboration with Citrus College, CSArts-SGV students have the opportunity to earn free, transferable college credit through select conservatory courses while enrolled at CSArts-SGV.

Unlike traditional dual enrollment programs, many Citrus College courses are embedded directly into students' conservatory curriculum. This allows students to earn college credit while maintaining the same schedule they would normally have as a CSArts-SGV student.

• Earn transferable college credit while participating in conservatory coursework.

• College courses are integrated into the regular conservatory schedule.

• All tuition, enrollment fees, and instructional materials are provided at no cost to CSArts-SGV students.

• College credit is earned without requiring students to travel to Citrus College or take additional classes outside of the school day.

• Students gain valuable college experience while pursuing rigorous arts training.

• All Early College Program courses follow Citrus College expectations, policies, and academic standards.

• Students receive a permanent grade on their Citrus College transcript for every dual enrollment course completed.

• Citrus College student education records are protected under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and the California Education Code.

• Parents and guardians do not automatically have access to a student's Citrus College records. Students are encouraged to complete the Release of Student Information Form if they would like Citrus College to share information with a parent or guardian.

• Students are responsible for monitoring important Citrus College deadlines, including registration, add/drop deadlines, and other college communications.

Students enrolled in an Early College Program course who would like to drop after the semester has started need to complete that process through Wingspan (Citrus' equivalent to Aeries). Please click here to view the webpage to drop a dual-enrollment course. CSArts-SGV Administrators, Directors, and School Counselors are not able to drop the course for the student. Failure to drop a course through Wingspan will result in the course and resulting grade showing up on the student's Citrus College transcript. Students can also request an Excused Withdrawal (EW) up to 30 days after the end of Citrus' term. However, these requests are for extenuating circumstances and require documentation.
